If the honest view is that an older device isn't worth repairing, you'll hear it from us, and we can make you an offer to buy or part-exchange it instead.

Our Story
FoneTech set out to give people a better choice than binning a broken phone and buying another. Fix it properly, charge fairly, explain everything: that was the plan, and it still is. Our Aberdeen counter brings the same approach to the north-east, serving customers from Rosemount and Torry to Bridge of Don and Portlethen, many of whom found us because a friend suggested it.
FoneTech began as an independent repair business with a simple conviction: most gadgets can be repaired for far less than people expect. Proving that, one cracked screen and dead battery at a time, is still the foundation of everything we do across our shops. When a repair genuinely isn't worth it, we'll say so and can buy the old device from you instead.
Phones kept getting thinner, more tightly packed and harder to open. Our technicians kept learning: board-level diagnosis, micro-soldering and liquid damage treatment, supported by better microscopes and tools as each new generation arrived.
It started with phone repairs, but customers soon asked us about everything else they owned. Now the bench regularly sees laptops, tablets, smartwatches and games consoles from all the familiar brands. The approach hasn't changed: test first, explain clearly, quote honestly and finish the job properly.
A lot of our work now comes through word of mouth, from flatmates, colleagues and family. Every repair we hand back is a chance to keep that trust, and we treat it that way.
