FoneTech Aberdeen
Typical laptop jobs at our counter include a cracked display on a student MacBook, a battery that won’t last a lecture, a fan that sounds like a jet engine, or a keyboard with dead keys after a coffee spill. At FoneTech Aberdeen we diagnose first, then give you a fixed price.
Our Expertise
Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, Microsoft Surface, Samsung and MSI laptops all come our way. Batteries and chargers for popular models are often in stock, while screens and keyboards are ordered to the exact part number. You’ll know how long it’ll take before agreeing to any repair.
Some laptop faults are sudden, like a dropped bag and a smashed screen. Others build up quietly, like a battery that gradually fades or a fan clogged with dust. These are the repairs we’re asked for most often.
Cracks, lines or a flickering image? We fit a matching panel for your model and test it before handing it back.
Cells that can’t get through a lecture, or that have puffed up and lifted the trackpad.
Missing, sticky or dead keys repaired or replaced, including after spills, so typing feels normal again.
Board-level fixes for no-power and no-display faults. We trace the failed component under magnification and repair it, rather than swapping parts on a guess.
Tea across the keys? Unplug it, power down and get it to Unit W7 fast. The board is cleaned and any parts the drink has ruined are replaced.
Malware, crashes and painfully slow start-ups sorted, with your files kept safe.
Fone-Tech, we treat every device as if it were our own. From a straightforward screen replacement to complex liquid damage recovery, our goal is to provide dependable, long-lasting fixes so you can get back to your day without the stress.
Whether you are dealing with a faulty laptop, an unresponsive tablet, or a shattered smartphone, our experienced local engineers are on hand and ready to get it sorted.
FAQ
Frequently, yes. An SSD upgrade or fresh battery can make an older machine feel quick again for a fraction of the cost of a new one. If it isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
Usually. The storage drive often survives even when the laptop doesn't, and we can copy your files across before any major work. Screen faults rarely touch your data at all.
Software fixes and battery swaps are often same-day. Screen replacements depend on part availability, typically a few days, and we'll confirm timing when you drop it off.
Yes, along with most Windows laptops from Dell, HP, Lenovo and ASUS. Check our full repair list or ask about your model, and we will tell you whether parts are available.
Usually dust-clogged fans or dried-out thermal paste. A proper clean and fresh paste often cures it, and the laptop runs quieter and faster afterwards.
We'll check the charger, port, battery and board in turn and explain what's failed and what it costs before going any further.
